1. Scope and order documents
These Sales Conditions describe the general commercial framework for business inquiries and purchases of RF, microwave, optical and test equipment, components and related services from kTB Solutions.
The seller is the kTB Solutions entity identified in the written quotation or order acknowledgment. The applicable quotation, accepted order, agreed technical specification and any separately signed agreement establish the transaction-specific terms. If those documents contain a specific agreed provision, it takes precedence over the corresponding general information on this page, subject to applicable law.
Website browsing, a contact form submission or a request for quotation does not by itself create an accepted purchase order. Any mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
2. Quotations and order acceptance
Product listings, downloadable brochures and website descriptions are provided to help with selection. Prices, stock, lead times and technical configurations must be confirmed in a written quotation. A quotation is valid for the period stated in that quotation.
An order is accepted only when the relevant selling entity issues a written order acknowledgment or otherwise confirms acceptance in writing. Supply may depend on availability, technical review, credit approval and any necessary compliance checks. Changes to quantities, configurations or delivery requirements require written agreement.
3. Specifications and application suitability
The customer should confirm the required frequency range, interfaces, impedance, output levels, environmental conditions, calibration needs and intended application before ordering. The accepted technical specification defines the agreed configuration and performance requirements.
Images may be illustrative and technical documents may describe multiple options. Confirm critical characteristics and the current datasheet with us. The customer remains responsible for system integration, safe installation and verifying suitability for the intended use, except for responsibilities expressly accepted by the seller in writing.
4. Prices, taxes and payment
The quotation or order acknowledgment specifies the price, currency, payment method and payment schedule. Taxes, customs duties, import charges, freight, insurance and other charges are included only where the relevant document expressly states that they are included.
Any deposit, advance payment or credit arrangement must be agreed in writing. Shipment or service work may depend on receipt of agreed payments or credit approval. Verify unexpected requests to change bank details directly with an established kTB Solutions contact using a previously verified communication channel.
5. Delivery, shipment and import responsibilities
Delivery dates and lead times are estimates unless expressly confirmed as binding in writing. Availability of components, customer approvals, export authorizations and carrier operations may affect the schedule. Partial shipments require the arrangements stated in the order documents or subsequent agreement.
The agreed shipping term, named delivery location and any applicable Incoterms edition should be recorded in the quotation or order acknowledgment. Transfer of shipping risk, freight and insurance responsibilities, customs clearance and import costs follow those agreed terms and applicable law. No particular shipping term is imposed solely by this page.
6. Inspection and delivery issues
Inspect the packaging and shipment on receipt and compare the delivered items with the packing list and order documents. Keep packaging and shipping records if damage, shortages or incorrect items are found, and notify the seller and, where appropriate, the carrier promptly.
When reporting an issue, provide the order reference, model, serial number if available, a description and relevant photographs. Any contractual inspection or claim period is the period stated in the agreed order documents; mandatory rights remain unaffected.
7. Warranty, calibration and support
Warranty coverage, duration, exclusions and remedies are those expressly provided in the quotation, order documentation or applicable manufacturer warranty, together with any rights required by law. This page does not promise a universal warranty period across all products.
Installation, training, calibration certificates, traceability requirements, on-site support and ongoing service are included only when specified in the accepted scope of supply. Damage or performance issues involving misuse, unauthorized modification or operation outside rated conditions will be assessed under the applicable warranty terms.
8. Returns, repairs and cancellations
Contact us before returning equipment. Where a return or repair is authorized, follow the return authorization instructions, packaging requirements and shipping arrangements supplied by the service team. A return authorization permits assessment and does not by itself confirm a refund, replacement or warranty claim.
Order cancellations, changes, returns for credit and any associated charges require review and written agreement, subject to applicable law. Custom-built, specially configured or procured-to-order items may have different cancellation or return conditions, which should be confirmed before placing the order. No fixed restocking charge is established by this page.
9. Export controls and permitted use
Products, software, technical information and services may be subject to applicable export controls, sanctions and import regulations. Customers must provide accurate destination, end-user and intended-use information and cooperate with reasonable compliance checks or licensing requirements.
A transaction may be delayed, declined or suspended if the required authorization is unavailable or applicable restrictions prevent performance. Customers must not divert or transfer supplied items in breach of applicable restrictions. Any allocation of licensing and documentation responsibilities should be confirmed in the order documents.
10. Technical information and intellectual property
A purchase does not transfer ownership of patents, designs, trademarks, software or other intellectual property unless expressly agreed in writing. Software and third-party documentation remain subject to their applicable license terms.
Confidential drawings, designs or application details should be exchanged under an appropriate confidentiality arrangement where necessary. Do not submit restricted or sensitive technical information through a general website inquiry form. Personal information used for business communications is addressed in our Privacy Statement.
11. Exceptional events, liability and disputes
If an event outside a party's reasonable control affects an order, its consequences, any revised schedule and available remedies are determined by the applicable agreement and law. The affected party should communicate the issue and discuss practical next steps.
Any agreed liability limits, exclusions, governing law and dispute forum belong in the written contract or order terms. This general page does not select a jurisdiction or establish an arbitrary liability cap. Nothing here excludes obligations or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Raise concerns with the selling entity first so that the parties can seek a practical resolution.
12. Questions before ordering
Before issuing a purchase order, ask us to confirm any requirement important to your application, including performance, delivery terms, documentation, payment, warranty and return eligibility. Keep the final quotation, order acknowledgment and agreed specifications with your purchasing records.
